Intro & New Features
The TRUE HZRDUS 7X4 are an evolution of the L20.2 pads. The HZRDUS 7X4 pads are built to offer an elite balance of performance and affordability with a composite-reinforced thigh rise and a stiff, flat face build. It features many of the same technologies and materials found within the HZRDUS goalie gear, offering goalies competitive performance in a game-ready package.
External Material
Because JenPro material has a solid reputation for being a dependable choice for creating the pad's exterior, TRUE keeps using it. The choice to go with JenPro highlights its demonstrated performance and longevity, making it a reliable option for preserving the appearance and functioning of the pad. This material is highly valued for its resilience to abrasion, guaranteeing durability and strength across a range of circumstances.
Internal Construction
The core features a single break (below the knee). This provides unparalleled agility and flexibilty with the single break core below the knee. This innovative design allows for for quick movements, precise positiing, and lightning-fast reactions. It is also 30% stiffer due to reinforced composite thigh rise for tight butterfly and RVH seal.
Pad Break
The HZRDUS 7X4 Leg pads feature a stiff no outer roll break. This design reinforces the top butterfly edge to help reduce skip over and ensure a tight 5-hole seal.
Boot Angle & Toe Taper
The elevated pad on the skate allows for easier pad rotation and greater post coverage thanks to the stiffer, more open boot angle. This design change uses an intentionally wider and reinforced boot angle to encourage a higher positioning of the pad. This alteration guarantees optimal coverage of the goalpost area in addition to improving mobility and agility.
Strapping
The FRS strapping system secures the pads with a wide, plush wrap, internally adjustable at two different points to allow precision tuning of the pad's fit. Additionally, TRUE's FRS helps to better balance the pad's weight around the goalie's calf, offering improved rotation with enhanced butterfly stability.
Calf Guard
The Fast Response System (FRS), located on the calf, features a dual internal adjustable strap for stability, weight distribution, and enhanced comfort, optimizing agility and responsiveness providing precise control and support.
Sizes & Colors
The TRUE HZRDUS 7X4 Intermediate Leg Pads are available in sizes 29"-31", all with a 2" option. They also come in Black, White/Red, White/Royal, White/Black, and White.
